FSSAI Licensing

Central and State food licences for traders, importers and manufacturers.

In simple terms

Any business that handles food in India — manufacturing, trading, importing, storing or distributing — needs an FSSAI registration or licence appropriate to its scale and activity.

Importers and larger traders generally fall under the Central Licence. We prepare the application on FoSCoS, build the exact document set for your constitution and product list, and follow the file through to grant.

Who needs this?

  • Food importers, who generally require a Central Licence
  • Traders, distributors and wholesalers of food products
  • Manufacturers and repackers of food items
  • Storage, warehouse and transport operators handling food
  • Existing licence holders needing modification, addition of products or renewal

Key benefits

The correct licence category chosen for your activity and turnover

A clean document set prepared before filing, which reduces queries

Product and category list drafted to cover what you actually trade

Renewal and modification tracked so the licence does not lapse
